Recorded amiga games world of longplays

As example from Help My Cat! Also, when i tried with friends, the attitude wasnt same as yours. I know that when you play, you are much closer to average player than those friends in attitude difference. To get back to that title screen instruction.

Both friends attitude was bit in way of "A friends game, well, lets give it a try". It is done with high interest, but still bit half hearted. While i can imagine when you start the game, your attitude is "I want to play a game. Im going to try this new game", and i believe the latter one will be reading instructions better. So maybe that jump thing is nothing to worry about actually. But all in all. I believe many recent freeware and why not commercial ones too would be very happy from videos like that and they would help a mile to figure out how to make future games better and what worked and what didnt, were controls easy to figure out, or was there something specific that would have needed to be instructed differently, etc.

I thought you make infrequently at average once a month, but you might actually make them several in a week! Thanks from all your effort, and keep it up! While there are many a game I wish to replay myself, some of the games I only wish to see, and these longplays are great for that. I perhaps just want to remind myself of some specific part of the game, and with your and others longplays, i can do just that.

It would be great if there was a "central" database where you can see if a longplay has been done and focus on the ones that have not and play the desired ones for there. Any insight? Btw, regular longplays are not that interesting anymore as most Amiga games are relatively easily finishable; however speedruns and achievment runs like no damage etc. Re: Database of Longplays for the Amiga Post by MightyDimo » Sat May 22, am I managed to get over longplays from recordedamigagames before it went down.

I still have them and i think they are still available online somewhere. I think there is an "ironclaw" and a "hoopnios" who have done the majority of them - atleast on youtube. Sometimes i dont want to play a game but rather just see where i failed or what an end boss is etc Just too many games to play through and if i can filter many out with a longplay, that would be good.

I really dont want to play "Keef the Thief" again as i just dont have a whole weekend free to do it. I would rather just see a long play. While I could automate this through command line tools, I think such hard-overlays are ugly and useless.

Finally, apparently they re-upload those videos using their own YouTube account, which is silly too. I guess this means you don't like it? I love the idea just look at the various longplays I've already done , but don't like the execution.

Vampier already has quite some notable games on his channel. I'm re-recording a few old breakthroughs while playing them again because of the low audio video quality they had in the beginning. I know Konami is a company and that companies are supposed to make money, but this I find very depressing. I sometimes get some automated youtube mailes like that as well from the music business.
