Sonny story game

I'm at Blackhall Keep now I think. I'm not saying I want this to be a mindless phone game, but it's nearly impossible. What's the point of having a skill tree where you can choose your path when only one path works? Come to think of it, I don't even know if one of them will work to get me through this game I see the respec button, but I shouldn't have to use it between every zone or every battle. I'm up for a challenge, but!

If one of my party members dies and others are critically low before we even get to our turn, it's broken. It just is. At least maybe have different difficulty settings or something. I don't want to uninstall because the gameplay is fun, but the challenge is too unrealistic. Plus there's a glitch with sound- if you turn off sound and music, then end a battle, it'll come back on, but that's the LEAST of my problems.

I have faith in this game still, but I am just not going to play it further or improve my review until I can feel like it's actually possible. About This Game The beloved Flash RPG series played by millions lives again in an all-new adventure that's not a sequel or a simple remake.

When Sonny returns from the dead without his memories, he finds himself caught between the conflict of a seemingly endless horde of mutated monstrosities and a mysterious paramilitary force. With the help of some unlikely allies, he will discover his destiny is greater than he expected, and maybe save the world. Sonny is a challenging turn-based, combat-focused RPG where unlocking and combining the effects of new skills and abilities is required to topple foes with an enormous amount of power.

Veradux is visible at the top-left while Teco , an optional party member is visible at the bottom-left. Sonny gains experience along with party members after every fight. Sonny levels up after gaining sufficient experience. Every level-up grants Sonny Ability Points and Attribute Points, which can be used to activate upgrades.

Ability Points are used to unlock or improve Abilities. Unlike Sonny 2 and Sonny , in Sonny 1 the ability tree is the same for all Classes. The fifth Attribute, Focus, cannot be improved with Attribute Points. The importance of attributes varies depending on Sonny's class. Some special equipment contain bonuses for such attributes, that improves attacks of that type. Before a fight, players can modify the equipment configuration, or visit the Zone Shop to trade equipment. Also, certain enemies drop rare equipment that cannot be purchased at shops.

Before a fight, players can select a ring of 8 Abilities the "Combat Action Bar" that can be used during a fight. Certain powerful abilities can be added twice to the ring, allowing for usage in successive turns. During a fight, the player can only control Sonny directly. Certain abilities affect Sonny and party members such as healing abilities and certain can only be used on enemies defensive and offensive abilities. The following is a list of the classes for Sonny.

Players can only select a class at the beginning of the game. Click on a class to learn more about the Abilities it offers. The story begins with a cutscene where Sonny explains that he has died on a ship and has somehow been brought back to life as a zombie by Louis the Blind. However, he suffers from major amnesia, having forgotten everything before his "death". Sonny has no choice but to continue his search for his identity, gaining trusted allies along the way, and maybe save the world in the process as he stumbles across a vast conspiracy.

Sonny plays much the same as the original Flash games. Combat is turn-based, though only Sonny himself can be controlled directly while any other party members attack and use their special abilities as the situation requires.

As Sonny levels up, he gains points he can spend in his skill trees to unlock various combative or passive skills to use. Equipment can also be bought and upgraded to grant the player's party enhanced stats or even additional benefits. At certain parts of the story, players get to evolve Sonny, with various classes or strains to choose from.

Also at a certain part of the story, Sonny gets to upgrade his abilities during battle. Such upgrades are gained by filling a gauge by using attacks and abilities or getting hit by enemies.
