I'm trying to get devices such as NIC, wireless card, and sound to work. The drivers disc seem to have the drivers, and it looks like I'm extracting and installing the files, but upon reboot, I still don't see network icons or sound. I also tried getting the drivers from the website and then transferring the files to the laptop, but same result. Any help would be greatly appreciated! They believe that might the problem. They also stated that because I have only 1 hard drive that I did not need to go through all these steps.

So I am posting this for any one who might have the same issues and happened to come across this page. I had the very same issue after trying to format my xps Luckly it was under warranty.
Because Dell does not ship that model any more they had to make me the CD all over again with the correct drivers it took about 4 days to get.
Note this is not the same drivers on there web site. You can get started by selecting Reset this PC. You can remove everything by selecting this option. You can remove my files from this computer by selecting Just remove my files… The reset process can be completed by following the instructions on screen. You can change your PC settings by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping Settings, and then tapping Change PC settings… Update and recovery can be tapped or clicked, then Recovery can be tapped or clicked.
You can start by clicking or tapping Get started under Remove everything and reinstall Windows. The instructions on the screen will help you. But i am finding 3 un-installed drivers in my device manager. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. I even tried to plug in the Dell latitude e base system device cable and I still can t get online.
Standard for such a new Windows 10 device in to be? Everything seems to be working fine but in device manager, in other devices, I have 2 base system devices that do not have the current drivers and I cannot find it on Dell's website or any other place.
